38th Annual Feastival Event Information May 23rd 26th 2018

The 2018 Ware Shoals Catfish Feastival will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Last year over 20,000 people attended the two day event. We hope you will be able to join us for an exciting weekend on May 23rd May 26th 2018.

Wednesday May 23rd Kick-Off Night
5-11PM
Carnival rides start at 5pm and wrist bracelets are $15.

Thursday May 24th Block Party

8-11PM DJ T RoX
We are adding a brand new event to our 2018 schedule. Thursday May 24th will be our first annual block party. Get ready to rock the night away as DJ T RoX (Travis South) will keep everyone dancing and taking request to the most popular dance tunes.

Friday May 25th Family Night

6-7PM Dance Hall Academy Dance Group
7-11PM Split Shot Back by popular demand! Get Ready to Roll!

Saturday May 26th

12-2PM Elvis Jacob Eder's from Abbeville will sing all of you favorite Elvis songs.
2-3PM Rabun Creek The Walker Family is a traditional gospel bluegrass band from the upstate of South Carolina.
3-4PM Brett Henderson Welcome back our own local Brett Henderson as he plays your favorite country hits.
4-6:30 The Jake Bartley Band Welcome The Jake Bartley Band, One of the most highly sought after and hard working bands in the Carolinas, The Jake Bartley Band delivers a unique and progressive blend of rock, country, soul, jazz, and blues.
7-11PM Part Time Party Time Band The Part Time Party Time Band has been an icon in Southeastern entertainment since 1980. Promoters on the east coast have always been able to depend on the bands' ability to captivate and involve the audience to deliver a great time for all. The Part Time Party Time Band's extraordinary variety of experience (including appearances with top name performers such as The Four Tops, The Tams, Delbert McClinton, and The Beach Boys.
We will also have a number of arts & crafts vendors on Friday and Saturday. We will have bears, dolls, pocketbooks, jewelry, candles, baby items, little kids clothing, marshmallow shooters, hair bows, ladies accessories, leather goods, wooden toys, wreaths, puppets, face painting, etc. etc. A perfect time to pick up early gifts for everyone in your family, and for friends, and for yourself!

And, of course, we will have TONS of FOOD! The First Baptist Church's seasoned cooks will be returning on Friday and Saturday to cook their Fried Catfish Plates, Catfish Stew, Fried and BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, and much more.

There will be a variety of foods from other food vendors also, for everyone to enjoy! There will be Greek, Caribbean and plain old southern cooking for every taste. Chicken wings, burgers , Hawaiian shaved ice, ice cream, funnel cakes, nachos, fresh squeezed lemonade, pizza, bbq, fried pork skins and bake sale items, etc. etc. etc. You know we call it a "feastival" because we eat all weekend.

There will be Amusement rides starting Wednesday night for all ages. Times for rides will be: Wednesday, May 23rd, 6pm to 11pm, Thursday, May 24th, 5pm to 11pm, and Friday, May 25th, 4pm to 11 pm and Saturday, May 26th 11am 11pm. Wed, Thurs and Fri. are family nights and wrist bands will be only $15. Saturday wrist bands are $20. Ride times are split from 11am-5pm and 3pm-11pm.
