Come to downtown Newberry for the Spring Fling Weekend: A Downtown Open House Event!
Don't miss the City hosted Irish Fling- our kick off event for the weekend of fun! All day on March 16th enjoy a FREE family friendly leprechaun scavenger hunt for all ages that enters you to win prizes from our local shops. Enjoy delicious Irish Food and Drink Specials! And beginning at 5pm the streets will close, live entertainment will fill our local restaurants and bars, and you can even walk from venue to venue with your drink of choice (until 12am)!

Stop by the red event tent between 5pm and 9pm in Astwood Park (1318 Main Street) for your "over 21" wristband, souvenirs, and a chance to enter our "wearing green" raffle. Alcohol will be allowed in Downtown event area from 5pm- 12am and ONLY in special to-go event cups provided by participating restaurants and bars.

LEPRECHAUN SCAVENGER HUNT DETAILS: Looking for something family friendly? Many of our retail shops are participating All Weekend with a FREE Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt! Find 7 leprechauns, collect their names, and turn them in at any participating shop to enter to win gift certificates or prizes from your favorite downtown shops! If you find all 20 of the Leprechauns you'll be entered to win our "Pot-o-Gold" prize: one night's stay for FREE at downtown's Hampton Inn! Pick up your scavenger hunt map from any participating location on the event day. (Details coming soon).
