The Boiled Peanut cook-off was the brain child of local Blufftonians Jared Jester and Hannah Parrish. From its beginnings at the Bluffton Farmer's Market, the event has grown in notoriety and is now a large community family-centric event.

The Cook-Off features the best Boiled Peanuts, both traditional and creative.

This year we are heading back to our roots. We have decided to move the festival back to Calhoun St to focus more on the Nuttiness of the Boiled Peanut Cook-Off and other festival Contests.
