MARCH & FESTIVAL

Upstate Pride SCs March & Festival is held every year in Spartanburgs Barnet Park, featuring a full day of family-friendly activities to increase visibility, network, educate, and entertain. New activities are added each year to make the experience more diverse and interactive. More than a dozen performers, from drag to magic and comedy to dance, take the Zimmerli Amphitheater stage, and dozens of community vendors line the walkway to show attendees which businesses in the area are supportive of their cause. The childrens area is always busy, too, because our March & Festival is committed to providing a family atmosphere. Of course, there are also food vendors, street performers, hands-on activities, a photobooth, and much more. Arguably the best part of the day, however, is the peaceful one-mile march through Downtown Spartanburg. Hundreds of colorful people band together to walk the streets of our community, chanting and holding hands, to show the world that Upstate Pride is strong.
