There's only one word needed to describe this festival... Bacon! As soon as we say it's a festival about bacon people lose focus as they start salivating. But besides bacon, their will be some live music for entertainment in the Bacon Jam area and a kids area affectionately called the Bacon Bits. Of course, you eat bacon along the Bacon Strip, and you put on some weight while drinking beer in the Pork Barrel area. The Bacon Labor Day tagline is 'Who Saves Your Bacon?', in honor of the men and women who put their lives on the line everyday in our community.
