Description:

From Americana & Folk Festival Website:

This annual event will focus the Grateful Deads Jerry Garcia and David Grisbon, and their roots in traditional folk music.

The Third Saturday events are from 10:00 am-4:00 pm and showcase the historic Hagood Mill which is an 1845 Grist Mill, and features a variety of local craftsmen and artisans that bring crafting traditions to life.

Stone Ground Grits, Corn Meal, Flour, and other items are made in the Mill every event, and are available for purchase in the Mill and the Gift Shop.

The Hagood Creek Petroglyph Site is open, handicapped accessible, climate controlled, and includes a program. Admission to the Hagood Mill and the Petroglyph Site is FREE but there is a $5.00 parking charge with proceeds going to help the Hagood Mill.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket for seating to enjoy the music performances. There will be on site concessions available so plan on purchasing a nice lunch.

Pets are welcomed but must be kept on a leash.

Music may be held inside when weather dictates.
