Mark your calendars for a jammin' good time at KEMOPALOOZA on Friday, March 11 from 6 to 10 p.m. at EdVenture Childrens Museum! KEMOPALOOZA raises funds and awareness for CAMP KEMO Programs of Palmetto Health Childrens Hospital.

Tickets will be available online in mid-January. Attire for the event is casual, and you must be 21 and older to attend.

We invite you to join us on the journey to help provide the programs needed to meet the psychosocial needs of the patients, siblings and parents who face the challenges created by cancer and blood disorders. Treating these diseases in children requires a careful balance of services to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the entire family. CAMP KEMO Programs of Palmetto Health Childrens Hospital are designed to educate, inspire and support the entire family so that life is more manageable and enjoyable. It is critically important to provide emotional support from the moment of diagnosis through the end of treatment and beyondfrom late effects clinics for long-term survivors to bereavement support for those families whose children pass away.

KEMOPALOOZA 2016 will feature an opening set by Just Another Distraction with The Root Doctors headlining the event.

The 2015 event, held March 20, raised more than $118,000, including in-kind donations. More than 600 people attended this night of fun, food, musical entertainment and a silent auction.
