| Description: | Sun Coast Christian Church, 4319 Little River Rd., corner 44th Ave. N, Myrtle Beach, again presents the annual Mid-Summer Fair and Barbecue on August 8th from 10 am â 4 pm. Stroll among the many arts and crafts booths, have a massage or a blood pressure screening, cool off with a shaved ice cone, and enjoy some of the best barbecue on the beach. The fair offers a rare opportunity to meet and talk with local artists and watch them while they work. So whether you are interested in learning what inspires artists to create their art, or perhaps to do some early holiday shopping, an exceptional selection of items in a wide price range will be offered. See demonstrations of painting techniques, talk clay with an award winning potter, enjoy a quick massage, or consider adopting a new pet from Coastal Animal Rescue. At the fair there is something for everyone including a scrumptious barbecue dinner ($8.00) eat-in or take-out, a bake sale, book sale, and you don't have to be present to win one of the exciting door prizes donated by local merchants and artists. Proceeds from the fair support the Sun Coast Christian Church and its' ministries including: Back Pack Buddies and the homeless of Myrtle Beach. | ||
