Let's just get this outta the way right off the bat. We love parties. We love bluegrass.

Eventually, we got to wondering what would happen if we combined our two loves to create a big bluegrass party, and by cracky, The Aiken Bluegrass Festival was born!

Previously held at High Fields, just east of downtown Aiken, we got too big for our britches in 2014 and moved to the Aiken Fairgrounds, located at 1566 Columbia Highway North (Route 1 between the bypass and Interstate 20) in 2014. As always, we promise to bring in regionally and nationally acclaimed bluegrass artists for a two-day gathering in a family friendly environment, including plenty of activities for our little bluegrass fans. Food and other vendors will be available to fill the belly and quench the thirst, so coolers will not be allowed on the festival grounds.

We will have camping and RV space available for folks who would like to stay overnight. Space is limited, though, so get your reservations early. Tickets are available at local outlets and online. But we're in it for the music, the smiles, and the community not the money. All proceeds from the Aiken Bluegrass Festival benefit STAR Riding, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities improve their quality of life through safe interaction with horses.
