The Chapin Labor Day Festival and Parade is the community's signature event, drawing more than 30,000 people to the town to participate in a variety of events, including street fair with food and vendors in historic downtown Beaufort and Clark streets, a 5k walk-run, annual Chapin Library book sale, a classic car show, talent contest, amusement area, and concerts. And community groups, churches, businesses, Chapin High School's award-winning marching band and elected officials join special guests for the annual parade which loops around the Town Center.
